Choir Practice
Members of KMK (Kesatuan Mahasiawa Katolik or Catholic Students Union) of the Indonesia University of Education chapter, Bandung, were practicing choir at the basement of School of Language and Arts Education Building.
excellent Eki. I so wanted to listen to the choir after seeing your photo. and then your post said click to your sister site and voila, here i am. thanks!
I am impressed by this video! Great to hear this music. You asked about my life in Indonesia. I was a baby when I came to live on Java. We lived there until I was 12 in 1945. We had to leave Java and go back to Holland. I have made a post about my life, which you can find here http://readerwil.blogspot.com/2008/12/thats-my-world-my-life-and-family.html. It doesn't cause pain and I bear no feelings of hatred towards the Japanese. I am against colonialism. So I believe that the Dutch had no right to be in Indonesia as colonists. Many Dutch people think like me. I am very sorry about what my fellow countrymen did. I hope that there will be a time that the world realises that all people are equal, no matter from which continent, no matter which religion we confess and men and women are equal and can work very well together. That's what I learned in my life and my children too. Well thank you that you answered my comment. I appreciate this.
That is amazing -- the acoustics in such a place! They sound great!
