The Kacapi

Kacapi is a zither-like Sundanese musical instrument played as the main accompanying instrument in the Tembang Sunda (Sundanese Song), Kacapi Suling, recitation of Cerita Pantun (versified stories) or an additional instrument in Gamelan Degung performance.

The word kacapi in Sundanese also refers to santol tree, from which the zither instrument was believed to be originally made.

Zamrud Khatulistiwa (The Emerald of The Equator)

This is an Indonesian song entitled Zamrud Khatulistiwa (The Emerald of The Equator) by Chrisye, a famous Indonesian singer. I like the song because it has some touch of Indonesian ethnic music in its composition. The video is also nice.
